Ten Unexpected New Ways to be Sexy

While sexiness has a lot to do with looks, makeup and clothes we'd like to offer you up some alternative ideas on the ubiqituous and mysterious subject of sexiness. The following tips on amping up your sexy attempt to be gender neutral, meaning, they should for the most part work for both men and women. While you may already be aware of some, we're sure that you'll gain some new insights as well.

1. Ditch the hair spray, gel, styling products in general. If you can't get your hair to look a certain way naturally that's probably because it should never look that way. Styling your hair is as simple as brushing and blow drying into the look you desire. Wet hair is more pliable and easier to train into place. If your hair won't do what you want with this method, consider the possibility that it wasn't meant to do that. Soft, simple hair styles that actually move when the wind blows are much sexier than stiff, plastic hair dos. Your boyfriend or girlfriend should be able to run their hands through your hand without getting stuck. Touchable, smooth hair is sexy. It doesn't hurt if it smells nice too. A good hair cut teamed with  a gentle nicely fragranced shampoo/conditioner combo is all you really need.
2. Wear less makeup. Or none at all even. Just like for hair, on the face as well, the natural look is often sexier. There's no point in wearing tons of makeup to change how you look. Eventually your partner will have to see you without it. When they do, will they recognize you? There's nothing wrong with using light makeup to hide minor blemishes or to accentuate your features. Even still, change it up now and then, by going au naturale.
3. Try different looks. Most everyone has a certain clothing style they like best. That doesn't mean you can't still try new looks. Maybe in the bedroom you normally opt for the elegant look of a bra and panty combo. Why not try changing things up a bit and going a little trashier with an open crotch teddie. 7. Material. The style of lingerie you opt to wear is of course important to the overall sexy factor, but don't neglect the power of the material. The sense of touch is obviously a huge part of romance, love-making and sexiness. Whether you prefer bustiers, camis or gowns try getting them in a variety of fabrics for different feels when touched. Satin, silk and charmeuse are popular and do feel sexy. But don't overlook the some other great materials like leather, vinyl and velvet. Try to have an array of different fabrics in your lingerie arsenal. Keep things interesting by mixing it up.
8. Stimulate all five senses. If you haven't already noticed the pattern we'll explain it here. The five human senses are: Sight. Smell. Taste. Touch. Sound. The more you can excite each of these the better. Our senses are responsible for pretty much our entire perception of the world around us. So making an effort to arouse as many of them as possible never fails to up to sexy a few notches.
9. Role Reversal. Typically in initiating romantic relations/encounters one person is the pursuer and the other the pursuee. If you are typically the one submitting to your lovers advances it would be very sexy to switch your role and become the aggressor.
